Climb the trees and slide across high wires, crawl through tunnels, cross rope bridges, walk the planks and zip down to the ground!
Go Ape is an award-winning high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, tarzan swings and zip slides... all set high up in the trees.
Providing a fun day out with friends, families or colleagues, you'll be fitted with a climbing harness and given instruction before trekking from tree to tree high above the forest floor. Split into a number of different sections, the experience takes approximately 2.5-3 hours to complete but may vary depending on how many people are up in the trees.

Northfield Farm is situated on the edge of Flash, Englands highest village.
What better way to explore this known area of the Peak National park that from the back of a horse?
The rides, mostly 2 hours in length follow the old pack horse trails to such beauty spots as Three Shires Head, where the 3 county borders meet (Cheshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire). Whilst the longer rides will take you to the old market village of Longor, now perhaps better known as Cardale from Peak Practice or up over the Moors for lunch at the Cat and Fiddle inn.
Normally starting at 10.30am or 2.00pm, depending on the length , all rides are accompanied by our own very competent / qualified staff who are only too willing to help the client regardless of ability. We have a wide variety (over 30) of mostly home bred horses and ponies, which will suit all ages and standards, from the first timer to the more experienced.
Separate rides are available for the more competent riders, however some clients prefer to stay with less experienced friends or relatives, this is not a problem as we can split the ride half way in order to let them go for a good canter. Whilst the others can watch them as they amble up a slightly shorter route.
BHS approved.
All ages & standards.
Open all year.
Booking advisable. |

Poole's Cavern is a 2 million year old, natural limestone cave situated in the beautiful woodland of Buxton Country Park. One of the great caves of the Peak District.
The cavern has been visited for 5,000 years since Neolithic tribes first used it's chambers as shelter. The cave has been known as 'The First Wonder of the Peak' since the 1600's. Visitors for the 21st century can enjoy the latest facilities in our new visitor centre, restaurant and exhibition.
Guided tours through Poole's cavern begin every 20 minutes. Our expert guides will lead you on a one hour journey deep into the Peak Districts hidden landscape. The cavern is well lit with good pathways and only 26 steps throughout.

Enter the inner world of the underground cave system in the heart of the Peak District National Park and absorb the atmosphere as a watery silence echoes all around you.
Set at the foot of the spectacular Winnats Pass, high above the village of Castleton, Speedwell Cavern takes you on an incredible underground boat journey.
Descend the 105 steps from the almost hidden cave entrance to the landing stage of an underground canal where you step on to your tour guides' boat.
From here you glide quietly through the workings of a 200 year old lead mine. Picture in your mind what it must have been like to carve out these tunnels using only the most primitive tools as your guide recounts the story of the mine which opens into a network of natural caverns and underground rivers.
At Halfway House the canal tunnel splits into two to allow oncoming boats to pass as you wend your way 200 metres below the surface of the hill before entering a magnificent cathedral-like cavern containing the awesome Bottomless Pit - a huge subterranean lake. |
